Although there was a five-game slate of NBA action on Sunday, the NBA knew it would be taking a backseat to the NFL.
Kevin Durant didn’t score 54 points, but he did net 30 in a 108-93 win over the Sacramento Kings.
On a normal Sunday, Durant would likely be recognized for scoring at least 30 points in his seventh straight game.

After deflecting a pass in the end zone from Colin Kaepernick to Michael Crabtree that led to a game-winning interception, sending the Seahawks to the Super Bowl, the All-Pro and self-proclaimed “best cornerback in the league” had this to say:
Needless to say, this set the Twitter world on fire, and NBA stars in-particular had some great commentary on the ridiculousness of this post-game interview.
We just got set back 500 years…
